   I am a lifestyle photographer based in the South Sound between Seattle & Tacoma, WA. Lifestyle photography means no studio, no lighting and no backdrops. I specialize in on-location, natural light photography of babies & children, but I also enjoy capturing families, bellies, newborns and high school seniors. My images reflect real moment. I am not out to create the "traditional flawless portrait". Life isn't flawless. I do very little posing and will guide your child and follow them as they explore and play. I am looking to capture authentic connections between family members. With an eye for detail, I try to bring out the uninhibited nature of my clients.  So be ready to relax, be silly and most importantly have FUN!

   I am a proud lifelong resident of the great Pacific Northwest, residing in NE Tacoma with my husband of 11 years and our three beautiful children.

A place to start ~ Tacoma Photographer ~

Finally, a post! I’ve been working like crazy to get my new BLOG up and running. What do you think? Feel free to leave a comment, I love to hear from my clients/friends! Here we go…..

Well, I’ve had sick kiddos this last week. I guess it’s going around. I made a deal with my daughter, Greta Cate. If she agreed to work as a model for me today she could miss one more day of pre-school, wear a tutu from “Chasing Fire Flies”, and go to Starbucks for a vanilla steamer with whip cream. She collected all her goods, and only gave me a few shots before she was done and wanted to go home! UGH! I guess that’s all I can expect from a 4 year old. :) 032609_073112 032609_0738-32
